What areas do you serve?

Mobile notary services are available throughout Stanislaus County and surrounding areas. Legal document preparation services are available remotely for self-represented individuals throughout California.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Appointments may be scheduled by phone, email, or through our online scheduling system. We offer both virtual consultations and in-person appointments, depending on the service requested.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and other approved electronic payment methods. Payment requirements may vary depending on the service provided.

Are you an attorney?

No. OGC Business Solutions is a Registered and Bonded California Legal Document Assistant (LDA). We are authorized to prepare legal documents at your direction but cannot provide legal advice, represent you in court, or select legal forms on your behalf.

What is a Legal Document Assistant (LDA)?

A Legal Document Assistant is authorized under California law to assist self-represented individuals with the preparation of legal documents. Our role is to prepare documents based on your instructions and provide administrative assistance throughout the document preparation process.

Can you tell me which legal documents I need?

No. We cannot recommend which legal documents are appropriate for your situation. If you need legal advice, we encourage you to consult with a licensed attorney. Once you have determined which documents you need, we can assist with their preparation.

What types of legal documents do you prepare?

We assist with a variety of legal documents, including:

  • Estate Planning Documents
  • Living Trusts
  • Wills
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Advance Health Care Directives
  • Business Formation Documents
  • Family Law Documents
  • Deeds
  • Other self-help legal documents

How long does document preparation take?

Timeframes vary depending on the complexity of your matter. During your consultation, we will provide an estimated turnaround time.

What is the difference between a Will and a Living Trust?

A Will generally directs how your assets will be distributed after your death and may require probate. A Living Trust allows assets placed in the trust to be managed during your lifetime and may help avoid probate. Every person's situation is unique.

What documents are typically included in an estate plan?

A comprehensive estate plan may include:

  • Living Trust
  • Pour-Over Will
  • Durable Power of Attorney
  • Advance Health Care Directive
  • Certification of Trust
  • Assignment of Personal Property
  • Property Transfer Documents (when applicable)

How often should I update my estate plan?

You should consider reviewing your estate plan after major life events such as marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, the death of a loved one, purchasing property, or significant financial changes.

What identification is required for notarization?

California law requires acceptable government-issued identification. Acceptable forms of identification include a valid driver's license, state-issued identification card, passport, or other forms permitted by California law.

Do you travel to homes, hospitals, and care facilities?

Yes. Mobile appointments are available at homes, offices, hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and other mutually agreed-upon locations.

Can every document be notarized?

Not necessarily. California law requires the signer to appear in person, be properly identified, demonstrate willingness to sign, and appear aware of the transaction.

Can you notarize documents prepared by another company or attorney?

Yes. As long as California notarial requirements are met, we may notarize documents regardless of who prepared them.

Why is life insurance important?

Life insurance can help provide financial protection for your loved ones by replacing income, paying debts, covering final expenses, or helping preserve your family's financial future.

Can you help me determine the right policy?

Yes. As a licensed life insurance professional, we can discuss your goals and help you explore coverage options that fit your needs and budget.

Do you provide property management services?

No. OGC Business Solutions provides administrative support to independent property owners. We do not perform activities requiring a California real estate broker's license.

What property administrative services do you offer?

Services may include:

  • Lease preparation
  • Tenant communication
  • Record organization
  • Rent documentation
  • Administrative support
  • Vendor coordination
  • General property administration

Can you help me start my business?

Yes. We assist with business formation documents, including LLC formation, DBA filings, operating agreements, and other startup documentation.

Can you obtain my EIN?

Yes. We can assist with obtaining your Employer Identification Number (EIN) as part of your business formation services.

Is my information confidential?
